• Born in 1948 at Wadakkancherry, Thrissur District, Kerala. Father late T.P. Damodaran Nair. Hailing from a business family. Passed Chartered Accountancy Final Examination in 1976. He was in employment for 10 years in private sector/public sector and abroad. He is in active practice from 1987 onwards.
• Educational Qualification: B.Com, FCA. He has also been conferred the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) by The Open International University

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 1994. He is the founder Partner of V.Venugopalan & Associates. He has got rich experience in the conduct of Statutory and Tax audit work of companies, banks, firms and Trust/institutions. He has got good experience in conduct of statutory branch audit, revenue audit, concurrent audit as well as bank Head Office consolidation work. He has got good knowledge of Accounting Standards and its compliance and is also well versed in the Indian Companies Act and the Income Tax Act.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 1985 and LLB in 1987. In addition, has also qualified Company Secretary (ACS) in 1989, and Diploma in IFRS in year 2011 from ACCA, London. He has got rich experience in the conduct of Statutory and Tax audit work of companies, firms and Trust/institutions. He has good knowledge in the field of Indirect Taxation – Goods and Service Tax.
